Who is Popup Audio for?

Popup Audio is for anyone who shares their live voice to an audience. Yoga teachers, meditation and breathwork guides. Tourism operators and live brand activation hosts.

Who pays for Popup Audio?

The HOST pays per event based on the number of attendees. The Guests never pay through the app or share their details with us. 

What does it cost?

Currently we have 2 options;

1 - Pay as you go: $1 per person per event

2 - Subscription: $365 per year plus tax ($1 per day!) 

How many people can be in 1 event?

We are limited to 50 people maximum per event

What is the time frame per event?

As we are still developing the app we ask that you keep your events to 60minutes please

Can I test Popup Audio to see if its right for me?

Once you have registered as a HOST you can set up events with up to 5 guests at no charge to see if your equipment is working in your environment

What equipment is needed?

Popup Audio is available on Apple iOS and ANDROID. You can use any headphones to listen to the live audio as a guest, however we recommend at least Airpods or similar for the HOST as the microphone is excellent. We love the OpenComm2  headset from SHOKZ.

Can I play music?

Music can be played in the background, there is a slider for the music volume. Your voice remains as a constant volume. Music stored on your device is available to play through Popup Audio. Make sure you have the rights to steam the audio you share, we are not responsible for the music you share. To transfer music you own from your computer to your device we recommend using WalterPro (paid software)

Is there any latency?

Yes, unfortunately there is a slight delay. We are working towards tightening this up for a smoother experience. Stay tuned! We suggest that the host distances themselves from the audience to keep the events smoother for all.
